Hi friends! It is time for 2024 Family Sessions! These are some of my favorite photography sessions as I get to see so many new and old friends while also capturing memories and photos on camera. This year I am offering a full featured booking and client management experience tied to your photo galleries which also allows you to order photos, wall art, and photo books at a click of a button! Referrals + Return Clients: my business is in large part based on referrals and it means so much to me when clients come back and trust me with capturing their families from year to year! If you are a returning client you automatically get 10% off any of the packages below. In addition I will send you a $75 session coupon for each new client you refer (after they complete their session). They also get 10% off their package with your referral!
Below are my 2024 options in brief:
Complete Session (60+ minutes / 125+ photos / $475) - this is the session to choose if you want full control of the time, location, and style of a shoot.
Basic Session (30 minutes / 50+ photos / $350) - this will likely be the best fit for most families with an efficient but still personalized shoot.
Mini Session (20 minutes / 25+ photos / $250) - these are sessions planned in conjunction with other clients at a singular location [limited availability in “blocks”, usually in the Fall].
NOTE: amount of time and number of photos taken or delivered is an estimate in service of capturing a complete session, may vary, and is at the discretion of the photographer.
Finally, I am available for other photography work (including weddings, engagements, newborn photo sessions, events, conferences, etc.) and creative work if you know of need or opportunities (similar referral benefits apply)!

KARL MAGNUSON is a Washington DC-based photographer specializing in portrait, live music / event, and travel / editorial work. He has select availability for photo sessions throughout 2024 (including senior portraits, family sessions, etc.) Photo sessions range from full on location sessions to 35mm film shoots to mini sessions (in conjunction with multiple clients), and include digital delivery of high quality edited files. Credit is available for returning clients and / or referrals. Details and additional options will be sent in response to inquiries below.
