FAMILY | The Soks
Long blog post warning. The combination of incredible Autumn colors plus an extended afternoon with good friends means that I didn't put a lot of effort into culling from the full set of photos. Too many pictures I love and refuse to leave out!
The last time I tried to shoot at the United States Arboretum, time, not weather foiled the attempt. This dreary November afternoon threatened rain, but thankfully it held off, and we were able to traipse around one of the best and scenic places in DC to escape the city. Not only is the arboretum covered in all sorts of trees (in peak fall foliage!), but it also contains the National Capitol Columns - an arrangement of twenty-two Corinthian columns, originally from the United States Capitol.
And no photoshoot would be truly complete without a food pitstop - this time we hit up a new location of a DC staple - Ben's Chili Bowl. We filled up on chili, and even took a few pictures around the Hill.
