TRAVEL | Santorini | Summer 2017
Santorini is incredible, and if someone tells you that it is incredible, believe them, because it is. The island is as known as Καλλίστη, "the most beautiful one". Oia is perhaps the face of Greece, the white-washed houses with brilliantly colorful roofs is the postcard image of the Aegean, and is worth the trip to see with your own eyes. However, be warned it is HOT and CROWDED in the summer, because everyone knows it is the place to visit.
I don't have as many words or pictures for this, the last of my Italy & Greece photo posts. It was an incredible trip full of incredible days like the one spent on Santorini. I could spend paragraphs recounting my wonder at the geological features that formed the islands, the military and historic significance of this area of the world, the economic peculiarities of these isolated communities, the cultural particulars of the Greek islanders...but maybe you can visit one day, armed with wide eyes and a curious, adventurous spirit, and discover all of it for yourself!
Don't miss the video recap of the entire trip I put together, featuring a lot of footage of Santorini and the other islands!
