SCENES | Eliza | Summer 2018

This was one of the best creative experiences I’ve ever had. I am so grateful to have had a chance to collaborate with the “sisters”, as well as my friends Anna Meyer and  Teale Dvornik. A photoshoot with the Schuyler Sisters from the Angelica National Tour of Hamilton around the Capitol and Library of Congress. Shoot me. [Where’s Aaron Burr when you need him?]

Julia Harriman absolutely blew me away when I saw her play Eliza Schuyler-Hamilton. She was perfect. Every note, every delivery of every line. Breathtaking. Don’t get me started on “Burn”. Oh, by the way, HAVE YOU READ HEARD THIS? She was part of the best “Hamildrop” this year - a reimagining of Eliza’s woman-scorned song “First Burn”. Let that hit you. “I know about whispers…I see how you look at my siiiiissssterrrrr…” You don’t need to believe me that she’s amazing - just watch her effortlessly nail that final note. And, I mean, she is so cool.

This post is one of a four part series - follow these links for individual photos of Sabrina and Isa, and this one for the Schuyler Sisters together.
