TRAVEL | Chicago Cubs & San Diego Summer | Summer 2018
Travel is always a priority for me. Seeing new places, meeting new friends, revisiting familiar places, reconnecting with family and friends...it is always worth the time and money it "costs" in my estimation. So I travel a lot! However, with my new job, I’m traveling for work more than ever, and it feels like I’ve been gone all summer long. I’ll save the pros and cons discussion about that for another time, but since it is officially September today, I figured I’d run through some of my summer pictures.
I am always looking to see the Twins play in person, and since I don’t live in Minnesota, one away team opponent / location is as good as the next…except Chicago / Wrigley because it is such a unique, old-school baseball experience. It was a scorcher, and the bats were as hot as the weather, but Broder and I enjoyed it all the same.
The pictures from California are mostly in and around San Diego - I took a couple trips out there for work, and it was the first time I’d been able to spend dedicated time there, exploring and enjoying the famously beautiful / perfect weather. I love Southern California.
