SCENES | Angelica | Summer 2018

This was one of the best creative experiences I’ve ever had. I am so grateful to have had a chance to collaborate with the “sisters”, as well as my friends Anna Meyer and  Teale Dvornik. A photoshoot with the Schuyler Sisters from the Angelica National Tour of Hamilton around the Capitol and Library of Congress. Shoot me. [Where’s Aaron Burr when you need him?]

Sabrina Sloan is Angelica Schuyler. She is smart, strong, sharp, stunning…she evokes respect and admiration immediately. She helped me coordinate this shoot during one of their last (and craziest!) weeks on tour in DC, and for that I will forever be grateful. Hanging out with her I was reminded of the awe I felt the first time I saw “Satisfied” played out on stage. She embodies that sheer brilliance. Also, this set has (maybe!) my favorite picture… "I’ve been readin Common Sense by Thomas Paine…

This post is one of a four part series - follow these links for individual photos of Julia and Isa, and this one for the Schuyler Sisters together.
