MARRIED | Andrew & Lauren
During my four plus years in DC thus far, few friends have been more involved and present in my life than Andrew Collins. Yes, that Andrew Collins, of Concentricity FM fame! If you're a regularly listener to our podcast you know he surprised, well, just about everyone by getting married this summer (as outlined in this episode). Long story short, after a year working and studying at a fellowship program in Maryland, and after meeting Lauren through the experience, he messaged me that they were going to get married before moving out to Seattle. From almost day one of my life in DC, Andrew has been around - from Settlers of Catan and discussions of California over shared meals at the Bull Moose, to long and short impromptu road trips, to countless discussions (on and off the podcast) - and it was fitting that I could attend the wedding, take some pictures, read some Scripture, and be a witness to the start of their new life together!
I hope the pictures capture the incredible job a small group of people did in the span of a few days to get a wedding planned and produced, and stylishly at that! I was so impressed, and it is a commendation to the nature of the TFA and Osprey Point community. The (8:00 AM!!) wedding was beautiful and flawless, but as unique and quirky as Andrew and Lauren are. I'll surely miss them as they are across the country now, but what a way to celebrate the new chapter in their lives! Can't wait to visit them in Seattle soon!
